Ryan's short films PG, PENANCE and SUCKER PUNCH have played at top film festivals across the country: SXSW, Palm Springs Shortfest, DC Shorts, The Methodfest, SF Indiefest, LA International Shorts, Athens International Film and Video and Palm Beach International Film Festivals to name a few. His comedy shorts, under the banner of ZINJANTHROPUS and DAILY FIBER, have featured on the main page of Will Ferrell's FunnyorDie.com, screened at the LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival and won the Upload Showdown on Comedy Central's Adam.com. For their roles in PENANCE, both lead actors received nominations for Best Actor in a Short Film at this year's Methodfest and in 2001 PG won the Warner Brother's Pictures Film Production Award Fund at NYU. Next up, Ryan is writing and plans to direct a feature length comedy LORD JIM, while he continues to launch a video a month with DAILY FIBER. Ryan is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (BFA, 2001) and was selected for the BBC Director's Training Program in London (Spring, 2000). He currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
